We all know that fruit and vegetables are good for us, we’ve all seen the campaigns ‘eat 5 fruit and veg a day’ but with our busy lifestyles, it’s sometimes difficult to achieve this. Lotus Lounge is here to help, we provide freshly squeezed juices and smoothies that are packed full of living vitamins and minerals. Fruit and veg also contain antioxidants, which help to combat free radicals in our body (the badies!), all these nutrients help to boost our immune system and energy levels, improve body functions and cell repair. What’s more you can take away your juice, relax in the lounge or even take your juice around the studio to look at the wall art. The type of juicer used will enhance the quality of your juice as any heat from a juice machine starts to destroy the nutrients. We mostly use a low heat juicer so that the nutrient quality is sustained, even as much as 2 days if kept in the fridge. The ingredients used are as much as possible from local suppliers and organic, we also try to use produce in season and will have seasonal specials. You can also rest in the knowledge that the cups provided are made of corn starch so are completely biodegradable, so add them to your compost not the landfill!
